3. Disinfection steps:

  1. Calculate the amount of disinfectant needed, the concentration of peraceticacid stock solution is 16%, and the disinfection concentration is 3-5‰;
  2. Select "Chemical Disinfection " on  touch screen to set the disinfection, soaking and flushing time respectively. It is recommended to set the disinfection cycle time to 30 minutes, the disinfection soaking time to 20 minutes, and the flushingtime to 90 minutes. The flushingtime needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation;
  3. Add the prepared disinfectant into the water distributor, seal the cover tightly, start the disinfection program with one button, and disinfect the RO host and the circulating pipe network;
  4. There is no need to actuate valves or switches during the cleaning and disinfection process;
  5. Ten(10) minutes before the end of disinfection flushing, use the peracetic acid test paperto detect the residual value of the water outlet, the pipe network backflow water and each user point. When the residual value is less than 1ppm, the 10min flushing is completed, and the disinfection is qualified, then the equipment enters the standby state;
  6. Check the peracetic acid value at equipment outlet, pipe network backflow water and each water user point before disinfectionfinishes. When the peracetic acid value is greater than 1ppm, the flushing time needs to be extended until the peracetic acid value is less than 1ppm, and the disinfection is over.
  7. Perform chemical disinfection once every six (6) months;or disinfect when microorganisms and bacterial endotoxins reach the warning value. The warning value is microorganisms and bacterial endotoxinsreach 75% of the limit value.

Warm tips:  图片1

  1. Do not use industrial peracetic acid , industrial peracetic acid can stimulate eye mucosa, respiratory mucosa, and cause genetic mutations. Therefore, medical disinfectants must be used for disinfection. Incorrect peracetic acid concentration may cause irreversible damage to the reverse osmosis membrane.
  2. The peracetic acid solution used for system disinfection is highly corrosive and may damage eyes and skin. The exposed skin will be corroded and white plaque may appear, but it can disappear within 1-2 hours;
  3. After disinfecting the water treatment machine and the pipes loop in dialysis room, do not start the dialysis without confirming that there is no disinfectant remains.Otherwise it will cause serious medical accidents;
  4. If you buy A / B solution peracetic acid , you need to prepare the disinfectant solution 24 hours before doing chemical disinfection.
