Industrial Water Softener
The industrial water softener is a sodium ion exchanger composed of an ion exchange pressure vessel (or ion exchange column), a sodium cation resin, a automatic control valve, and a salt tank regeneration system. The softener vessel usually use FRP, carbon steel or stainless steel material.

Working Principle
When hard water enters the filter tank, the resin beads in the resin bed absorb the calcium and magnesium ions from the water, while releasing sodium or potassium ions, thereby softening the water.
Later, the resin beads become saturated with calcium and magnesium ions. The system then initiates the regeneration process, flushing out these hardness ions with a brine solution and replenishing the resin with sodium or potassium ions.

Applications of Industrial Water Softener
- Widely used in chemical, petroleum, manufacturing, air conditioning, central heating and other industries.
- Its mainly used in boiler, thermal power station, chemical industry, light industry, textile, medicine, biology, electronics, atomic energy, and the pre-treatment of pure water.
- Its also used in industrial production where hard water softening and deionized water preparation are required.
- It can also be used for the decolorization and purification of food and drugs, the recovery of precious metals and chemical raw materials, and the treatment of electroplating wastewater.
