1250LPH Pharmaceutical Purified Water for El Salvador

This 1250LPH pharmaceutical purified water system is a compliant core water treatment equipment designed for pharmaceutical preparations, biopharmaceuticals and other fields. Adopting the core process of “pretreatment + two-stage reverse osmosis + ion exchange (EDI)”, it precisely removes microorganisms, pyrogens, dissolved salts and other pollutants from raw water. The produced water quality meets the purified water standards of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) (conductivity ≤1.3μS/cm@25℃, microbial limit ≤100CFU/ml, TOC ≤500 ppb), adapting to the stringent water requirements of key links such as feed water for multi-effect distillation machines before injection compounding. It helps pharmaceutical companies meet FDA’s cGMP production regulations, while ensuring the stability and safety of production water and reducing the long-term cost of purchasing external purified water.

Core Process

Pretreatment Unit

Different from conventional pretreatment, this equipment first uses a multimedia filter to remove suspended solids, sediment and other impurities, then a softening filter to reduce water hardness, and finally an activated carbon filter to eliminate off-colors, odors, free chlorine and organic matter. This design is due to the customer’s requirement for separate disinfection of the activated carbon filter.

Core Treatment Module

The equipment adopts “two-stage reverse osmosis process + EDI” as the core desalination unit, which can reduce TDS, remove suspended solids and organic matter, deeply eliminate residual ions, and realize continuous production of high-purity water.

Purified Water Distribution System

All parts of the equipment’s water distribution pipelines are made of SS316L material, with polished inner walls of the pipelines. This can significantly reduce the sites for microbial growth and impurity adsorption, meeting the hygienic requirements of “no dead ends and easy cleaning” for purified water systems.

Control System

The equipment is equipped with a Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) and an intelligent display panel, which can real-time monitor the operation status of the water treatment equipment and the produced water quality online. It is equipped with a status alarm function to realize comprehensive equipment monitoring.

Core Technical Advantages

  1. High Compliance Adaptability: The “pretreatment + two-stage reverse osmosis + EDI” process ensures the produced water quality (conductivity ≤1.3μS/cm, etc.) meets the water requirements of key injection links, complying with FDA cGMP regulations; the pretreatment module supports separate disinfection of activated carbon, further matching pharmaceutical hygiene standards.

2. High Efficiency, Stability & Easy Operation and Maintenance: Complementary process units resist raw water fluctuations, and fully automatic continuous water production ensures stable water quality; SS316L polished pipelines reduce microbial growth, achieve “dead-end-free cleaning”, and lower operation and maintenance difficulty.

3. More Controllable Long-term Costs: EDI technology reduces chemical consumption and extends resin service life; independent water production replaces external purchase, significantly reducing consumable costs and long-term water use costs.
